These media pads should be changed every 60 days. This next-generation air filter is unlike anything you've seen before, so unique that it has been awarded two United States patents. The replacement pads are custom-cut to fit in your frame (no scissors.) This listing is for (6) pre-cut replacement pads. This will provide 1 year of filtration for your home or business.

This filter media is rated at MERV 7. It will remove harmful airborne particles like dust, pollen, pet dander, and mold spores, creating a cleaner, healthier indoor environment. This helps reduce allergy symptoms, prevent respiratory issues, and promote overall well-being for everyone in the home.

The upgraded filter media pad features a special dual density design to allow for a extended 60 day filter life and a 60% increase In efficiency over our standard media. These inserts are not washable and should be changed out every 60 days.

MEDIA - Antimicrobial treated; dry tackified polyester air filter media. It’s microbe shield eliminates airborne micro-organisms from growing on the filter.

AVAILABLE CARBON OR ZEOLITE INSERTS - During the ordering process, you will have the option of adding an odor-control layer of either carbon or zeolite media. What is the difference between activated carbon and zeolite? Activated carbon filters utilize millions of small pores on the filter's surface to trap and remove gases and odors. These filters are ideal for removing common household odors such as cooking smells, cigarette smoke, and more. In contrast, Zeolite filters are composed of a micro-porous natural mineral that has been fused with polyester. They are particularly effective in removing Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) and gases, and excel at eliminating odors such as pet urine and ammonia. These inserts are optional, not required. You can add one of these inserts during the ordering process. They come in packs of 2.

Are permanent filters too restrictive?

Some early permanent filters were very restrictive and gave the product a bad reputation in some cases. Some HVAC contractors still tell their customers that all permanent filters are bad.

However, not all permanent filters are created equal. Like any type of filter, there is a balance between dust arrestance and air resistance. Our filters have very low air resistance.

Even our most restrictive filters are no more so than a good pleated disposable filter.

How long will your filters last?

With proper maintenance, you can expect your permanent filter to last at least as long as your HVAC unit. Some of our customers have been using their filters for over 15 years and counting.

Do your filters require electricity?

No. All of our filters are electrostatic. They have special polypropylene media layers that build a natural static charge as air passes through the filter. The charge is broken and the dust is released when the filter is cleaned.
